There is no evidence that “OAKLAND PROMISE” prior to April 30, 2019 has registered with California State Franchise Board. 3. There is no evidence that “OAKLAND PROMISE” prior to April 30, 2019 has registered a ‘fictitious ’business name , necessary for a banking account in a financial institution. 4. There is no evidence that “OAKLAND PROMISE” prior to April 30, 2019 has a City of Oakland Business License. ***OAKLAND PROMISE***SHOULD NEVER HAVE APPEARED AS A COMPONENT ON THE NOVEMBER 6, 2018 $198 PARCEL TAX KNOWN AS “THE CHILDREN’S INITIATIVE OF 2018” REFERRED TO AS BALLOT MEASURE AA, THAT “FAILED” , FALLING SHORT OF THE NECESSARY 66 2/3% REQUIRED FOR PASSAGE. MERGERS BECOME LEGALLY DRIVEN : (a) By-Laws need to be re-approved (b) A New Federal Identification number (c) Re Do ALL Banking Resolutions and Financial Agreements and Likely work with the Attorney General Office (d) Under the merger, “OAKLAND PROMISE” becomes owner of East Bay College Funds logo, name, assets programs, license, and other property, ; “OAKLAND PROMISE” owns East Bay College debts, liabilities, any unasserted claims against East Bay College Fund other contractual obligation. BANKING RULES FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS *NONPROFITS NEED BANK ACCOUNTS TO COLLECT REVENUES USED IN MOVING THE NONPROFIT’S MISSION FORWARD. A NONPROFIT IS A CORPORATION GIVEN “EXEMPT ORGANIZATION” STATUS BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.
